The Heart-Mind Integration Path

Heart-Mind Integration is taught as a progressive path of practice. Each stage builds upon the previous one, allowing students to cultivate strength, clarity, and embodied awareness over time.

FOUNDATIONAL TRAINING

3-Month Foundational Training

This introductory training establishes the core practices of posture, breath, energetic awareness, and integrity in action. Students develop the stability and clarity that support long-term cultivation.

Applications are currently open for the next cohort.

FOUNDATION:

  • Weekly 1.5 hour structured session

  • Weekly 45 minute reinforcement session

Content:

  • Five Element framework

  • Movement, embodied energetic practices, meditation, and real-life application

A three-month foundational training designed to cultivate steadiness, clarity, and embodied strength through consistent practice.

Limited to 6-8 participants

ADVANCED TRAINING

Heart-Mind Integration 9-Month Advanced Training

The apprenticeship offers deeper refinement and continued development for students who have completed the foundational training. This stage expands the practice through sustained cultivation and guided progression.  Applications will open soon.

Advanced program:

  • Weekly advanced refinement

  • Progressive evaluation

Structure & Embodiment:
Alignment, breath regulation, rooted movement, refined relaxation.

 

Energetic Awareness:
Dantian development, energy mechanics, circulation practices, meridian and chakra mapping within an embodied context.

 

Conscious Intention:
Alignment of heart, mind, and action. Manifestation through directed coherence.

With over 30 years of training and teaching experience in internal arts, Phillip developed Heart–Mind Integration to bridge disciplined embodiment, energetic refinement, and applied virtue.

His work emphasizes structure over spectacle, repetition over intensity, and coherence over performance.

For martial artists who have already developed external skill and seek a deeper understanding of the energetic principles that govern movement and combat.

This specialized training cultivates internal power, structural integrity, sensitivity, timing, and effortless force through the traditional martial applications of Tai Chi Chuan.

This program is designed for experienced martial artists who wish to explore the deep internal energetic principles embedded within martial movement. Through the traditional combat applications of Tai Chi Chuan, students develop refined sensitivity, whole-body connection, structural integrity, and internal power that transform the way force is generated, received, and expressed.

QIGONG

​Qigong, pronounced "chee-gong," is an ancient practice of gentle movements that helps the flow of Qi, or life energy, in the body. When this energy flows freely, it supports good physical, emotional, and spiritual wellbeing.  Practicing Qigong promotes a healthy flow of energy and overall health in all aspects of life

TAI CHI

Tai Chi is a deep practice where we prioritize teaching the true essence of Tai Chi. We emphasize proper structural alignment, efficient movement, and the various body states and energies that can be embodied through form and the application of it. Our approach helps practitioners build a strong foundation for their journey.

MEDICAL QIGONG

Medical Qigong involves  influencing, and regulating the client's Qi. After each session, clients receive personalized Qigong exercises to support their healing. These exercises combine physical movement, breathing techniques, and mental focus to restore balance and proper function in the body.
